Global Self-Pay Fee $8,000.00, including:
Comprehensive and individualized prenatal care.
Regular prenatal care schedule: monthly appts up until 28 weeks, biweekly appointments from 28 weeks to 36 weeks, and weekly appointments until delivery.
Appointment length is usually between 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow for vitals and assessment of mom and baby, ultrasound referrals, blood draws, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, education, and ample time to answer questions.
Referrals for labs and ultrasounds, although the ultrasounds and labs will be billed through the radiology center and lab company (Labcorp or Quest). These may also be covered by your insurance.
Labor & Birth.
24/7 on-call availability from 37 weeks through 42 weeks.
In-person support during active labor through the immediate postpartum period. We will stay with you to ensure you and baby are healthy and well (usually 2-4 hours postpartum).
Postpartum Care.
Postpartum visits at 24-48 hours, 2 weeks, and 6 weeks.
The first postpartum visit will take place in your home, and the 2-week and 6-week appointments will take place at our office.
Filing of birth certificate with vital statistics within 5 days of delivery with an option of opting for a social security number for your baby. Additional Information will be provided at your first postpartum visit.

Labor & Birth.
At 37 weeks, I will fax your records to your preferred hospital and send you a copy of your records as well.
When you are in labor, you will go to the hospital and your provider will be the hospitalist on call.
I will not be on call for you, but I do recommend having a knowledgable and experienced doula. I will provide a list of trusted and experienced doulas during your prenatal care.
Postpartum Care.
After you are discharged from the hospital, we will resume regular postpartum care with visits at 2 weeks and 6 weeks to check on the health and wellbeing of you and baby.

For the cost of the birth pool rental is $225 and includes:
Delivery of the birth pool at your 36-week home visit and we will review the supplies provided and set-up process.
Birth pool that is thoroughly sanitized between uses.
I currently use the White Birth Pool in a Box Mini.
Brand New Fitted Birth Pool Liner.
Shower adapter to connect the garden hose to your shower head.
Air inflator to inflate the birth pool.
Sub pump to empty the birth water from the birth pool.
Clean up & removal in the immediate postpartum period.
I only offer birth pool rentals to Home Birth clients of Blossom Birth Midwifery Care.
You will be responsible for purchasing a brand-new, unused garden hose.

Placenta encapsulations the practice of ingesting the placenta after it has been dehydrated, ground, and placed into pills. *The cost of the capsules includes the travel fee for going to pick up the placenta, but the add-on pricing does not. Please inquire about the pricing if you would like one of these services alone.

Home Birth $8,000.00 Self-Pay
A deposit of $1,000 is required to secure availability for your due date and to schedule your first appointment. We will agree on a payment plan consisting of installments paid throughout your pregnancy and the total balance paid in full by 34 weeks in order for the midwife to be on call.
The fees do NOT include: labs, ultrasounds, consultations, recommended supplements, recommended bodywork (chiropractor, pelvic floor therapy, etc.), RhoGAM, birth pool rental ($225), and your birth kit.
$500 prompt payment reduction available if payment is made in full at the initial appointment
Prenatal & Postpartum Care Only $5,000.00 Self-Pay
A deposit of $500 is required to establish prenatal care. We will agree on a payment plan consisting of installments paid throughout your pregnancy and the total balance paid in full by 34 weeks.
The fees do NOT include: labs, ultrasounds, consultations, recommended supplements, recommended bodywork (chiropractor, pelvic floor therapy, etc.), RhoGAM
$300 prompt payment reduction available if payment is made in full at the initial appointment
Insurance
Blossom Birth Midwifery Care is out of network with all insurance plans. While midwifery services are not billed directly to insurance, labs, ultrasounds, and consultations may be billed to your insurance when applicable.
We work with a third-party medical biller who can assist with submitting claims to your insurance for potential reimbursement of eligible midwifery services after six weeks postpartum. Please note that insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed, and payment for midwifery care is due according to the agreed-upon payment schedule regardless of insurance coverage, claim processing, or reimbursement.

There will be home visits at 36 weeks and 24-48 hours postpartum.
However, I am still in the process of setting up my new space and will temporarily be offering home visits. I anticipate appointments will transition to the office in the next 1-2 months.
